The first sign that your air-con may need servicing is that the air coming from the vents is not very cold or as cool as it used to be, or maybe that it doesn’t feel any different when the Air Conditioning is switched off.
Air con Servicing
It is recommended by manufacturers that the air con system is serviced at least once every 2 years. A service will include the removal of gas. A full vacuum on the system to remove the old oil/UV dye, and to remove any moisture in the system. Then the system is recharged with the correct level of gas. (Manufacturer specific)
System leaks
There could be many other reasons why your air-con isn’t blowing cold anymore, but we will be able to advise you during the air con service if there are other issues in the system.
Air con cleaning
If your air con is working fine but has a nasty odour when it’s running, then we recommend having an anti bac system service performed. The special anti-bacterial gas we use will kill any mould and bacteria in the system, which are usually the causes of bad odours.
